BIM Modeller - GCC Region EWI are supporting a Leading international engineering firm who are requiring a BIM Modeller for rail projects in the Middle East Region Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with project teams to create accurate and detailed Building Information Models (BIM) for rail infrastructure projects.
- Convert design concepts, sketches, and specifications into comprehensive 3D models using BIM software and tools.
- Ensure all BIM models adhere to industry standards, project requirements, and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to integrate accurate and up-to-date information into the BIM models.
- Review and analyze BIM models for consistency, clashes, and accuracy to identify potential issues and provide proactive solutions.
- Assist in producing construction drawings, renderings, and visualizations from the BIM models as needed.
- Stay current with BIM trends, software updates, and industry best practices to continuously enhance modeling techniques.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably within rail or transportation projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of BIM principles and workflows.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and provide accurate solutions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with rail project terminology and standards is advantageous.
- Monthly salary of 15,000 AED (tax-free).
