Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler to join our team. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating, developing, and managing 3D models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This role will require close collaboration with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure the accuracy and quality of digital designs for building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Modeling: Create and manage accurate 3D models for building projects using BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, etc.), ensuring that all components align with project specifications. Collaboration: Work closely with the project team (architects, engineers, and other stakeholders) to understand design requirements and integrate changes into the BIM models. Model Coordination: Coordinate with other team members to ensure that models are aligned with each discipline's requirements (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.). Clash Detection: Perform clash detection and resolve any issues or conflicts within the BIM model using software tools like Navisworks or BIM 360. Documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, schedules, and reports derived from the BIM model to be used during construction. Project Support: Provide ongoing support throughout the construction phases, ensuring that the BIM model is updated as changes occur on-site. Quality Control: Review models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards and building codes. Software Utilization: Utilize BIM tools and technologies to improve modeling efficiency and workflows. Training and Mentorship: Assist in training junior BIM modelers and other team members on BIM software and best practices.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or similar role in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. Proficient in BIM software tools, particularly Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant platforms. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and standards. Familiarity with Clash Detection and Coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks, BIM 360). Experience in 3D modeling, drafting, and visualization techniques. Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and collaborate effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in BIM (e.g., BIM Professional Certification). Experience with Revit Family Creation and advanced Revit tools. Knowledge of VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) practices. Experience with Construction Scheduling and related software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project). Familiarity with AR/VR applications for BIM and design visualization.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
