Ramboll are looking for a BIM Manager Lead to join our offices located in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide BIM engineering services on mega projects to Ramboll and its Clients\'

The successful candidate will be focal point for BIM project delivery and to coordinate closely with project team to ensure that projects are set up correctly and delivered efficiently through all design stages. For this role, the candidate should have;

• As a BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager within our Construction Design Consultancy, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of BIM processes and technologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• BIM Manager will report to Design Management team and look after entire multidiscipline teams etc. The BIM Manager plays a crucial role in driving innovation, enhancing collaboration, and improving project outcomes through effective BIM implementation.

• BIM Implementation:

• Develop and implement BIM strategies, standards, and workflows across the organization.
• Collaborate with project teams to establish BIM project requirements and execution plans.
• Provide technical leadership and support to design teams during project setup, modeling, and coordination processes.
• Oversee the adoption of BIM tools and software, ensuring compatibility and interoperability.
• BIM Project Coordination:

• Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration by managing clash detection, clash resolution, and model coordination processes.
• Review BIM models for quality, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate with external partners, such as contractors and sub-consultants, to exchange BIM models and data.
• BIM Data Management:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive BIM library of families, components, and templates.
• Manage BIM data standards, naming conventions, and file structures to ensure consistency and easy retrieval of information.
• Establish and enforce BIM data protocols and best practices to ensure accurate and up-to-date project information.
• Ensure proper version control and data security of BIM models and project documentation.
• Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to staff members on BIM software, tools, and workflows.
• Conduct workshops and seminars to enhance BIM knowledge and promote best practices within the organization.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Serve as a resource for troubleshooting BIM-related issues and providing technical assistance.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Explore and evaluate new BIM technologies, tools, and processes to enhance project efficiency and quality.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through BIM automation and integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in BIM technologies, processes, and software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360).
• Proven experience in managing BIM implementation and coordination on large-scale construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to BIM.
• Proficiency in clash detection, clash resolution, and coordination processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Continuous learning mindset and a passion for innovation in the AEC industry.
