Due to our continued growth in the region, we are looking for a BIM Manager in Abu Dhabi to support with major infrastructure and utility programmes. Responsibilities include:
Issue and respond to all formal correspondences related to BIM activities
Support configuration and establishment of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for Project use
Manage and support object(s) creation and maintain libraries according to the relevant Project(s) and stage(s) as needed
Develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards
Develop and automate routines in BIM to support standards, quality and productivity
Develop, monitor, coordinate and report on the Pre- Post contract BIM Execution Plan, Task and Master Information Delivery Plan (TIDP and MIDP) for Design delivery
Manage, support and validate project design delivery e.g. modeling, detailing, scheduling and extraction
Manage and ensure Project Information Models (PIM's) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol
Develop the process, perform, measure and ensure the highest quality for all BIM model package submissions in accordance with Project standards and requirements
Review, monitor and report on the development of clash interference and coordinated models with Design Leads for resolution and closure
Collaborate and coordinate with the Project delivery team design-changes and model challenges
Prepare validation reports for milestone BIM package submissions
Support the Contracts and Project Controls department in BIM related activities
Here's What You'll Need:
A degree, ideally in Civil Engineering or equivalent
A minimum of 10 years BIM experience
Proven infrastructure and / or utility project experience
Experience working in a Design Consultancy
Extensive experience in Autodesk Civil 3D (Roads, Bridges, Utilities and Grading) including object & information modelling, alignments, pipe networks, GIS integration, Civil 3D Native Content Creation and Sub-Assemblies
Working knowledge of Information Standards ISO 19650 (Parts 1 & 2 at a minimum), PAS 1192, BS1192, MIDP and TIDP creation and MIDP Automation
Experience with the integration of GIS, Infraworks and Civil 3D workflows
Knowledge of Survey methods reality capture and integration in infrastructure projects
Knowledge of CDE platforms (BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex)
Experience conducting clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks Manage
Experience creating/tailoring project setups to suit the client
