We are looking for a BIM CAD Technician to work in Ireland. Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. As a BIM CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D digital models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. Your expertise in CAD drafting and your understanding of BIM workflows will contribute to the successful execution of our projects. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D models using BIM software (such as Autodesk Revit) based on project specifications, architectural drawings, and engineering designs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate and comprehensive BIM models.
• Implement BIM standards and protocols, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and project-specific guidelines.
• Assist in clash detection and coordination of various building systems (structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical) to identify and resolve conflicts.
• Generate construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details, utilizing BIM models and CAD software.
• Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating design changes and revisions as necessary.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of BIM models, ensuring they reflect the latest design information and meet project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and visualizations, utilizing BIM models to communicate project designs effectively.
• Collaborate with project teams to extract and analyze data from BIM models, supporting decision-making processes and improving project efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in BIM technologies and workflows, actively seeking opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a BIM CAD Technician or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of BIM principles and workflows.
• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD Architecture, or Bentley MicroStation, with the ability to create accurate 2D and 3D models.
• Solid knowledge of CAD drafting principles and techniques, including layer management, scaling, dimensioning, and annotation.
• Familiarity with clash detection software (e.g., Navisworks) and coordination processes is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve conflicts in BIM models.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes, such as AIA, ASME, and ANSI, is advantageous.
• Certifications in BIM software or CAD drafting are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED9,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
