Job Description

MyCare Home Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented

Billing Officer & Insurance Coordinator

to manage end-to-end billing processes, insurance claims, pre-approvals, and invoicing. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial operations and seamless coordination between insurance companies, patients, and clinical teams--while maintaining full compliance with DHA and UAE healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, submit, and monitor insurance claims using

DHA and eClaimLink portals

. Secure insurance

pre-authorizations and approvals

for home healthcare services. Accurately generate

invoices

for private pay clients and maintain up-to-date receivables tracking. Address

claim denials, rejections, and resubmissions

to ensure timely reimbursement. Reconcile billing discrepancies and maintain complete, compliant financial records. Work closely with the

intake and operations teams

to ensure billing aligns with services rendered. Provide

monthly billing, receivables, and insurance performance reports

to management. Stay updated and ensure compliance with

DHA, payer guidelines, and internal billing protocols

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in

Business Administration, Accounting, Nursing

, or a related healthcare field.

Minimum 2-3 years

of proven experience in healthcare billing and insurance coordination in the

UAE

. In-depth knowledge of

DHA insurance systems

,

UAE health insurance policies

, and claim procedures. Familiarity with

medical coding

(ICD-10, CPT) and healthcare billing best practices. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for engaging with patients, insurers, and clinical teams. High level of integrity in handling

confidential financial and medical information

. Proficient in

Microsoft Office

, especially Excel; experience with

EMR or healthcare billing software

is a plus.
