Job Title: Billing Analyst
Reports to: Billing & Collection Manager
Department: Commercial
Section: Billing & Collection
JOB PURPOSE:
Timely preparation and issuance of bills to customers on time. Follow-up with customers on monthly bills and maintain customers' accounts in an efficient manner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Day-to-day Operations
Register customer details accurately for a seamless billing process.
Register and prepare invoices and coordinate with customers with regards to any payment enquiries.
Receive payments and issue receipts for payments made by customers.
Request monthly meter readings from technical team in order to issue monthly bills to bulk and individual customers.
Prepare statement of account based on payment updates received from Finance department.
Prepare overdue payment report on a weekly basis to be shared with Customer Service, Billing & Collection Manager.
Follow up with customers on overdue payments through calls, reminder letters and e-mails.
Coordinate with the finance team for the summary of total receivables from various customers when required.
Maintain a proper filing system for invoiced receipts and other billing documents for easy retrieval.
Respond to customers enquiries related to invoices. Sending reminder letters and e-mails to customers for overdue payments.

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Prepare Monthly Progress Report on basics of current status of buildings with photo proofs.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., Accounting)
Minimum Experience:
5 years of relevant experience in a similar role and industry
Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical):
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask
