Bike Rider (Heavy Truck Auto Parts Specialist)

who understands the aftermarket auto parts industry, particularly for heavy trucks, and can swiftly coordinate with suppliers to locate, purchase, and deliver parts to our workshops and operational sites. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of local auto parts markets, ERP systems to insert data in the ERP system, and support maintenance operations and road safety rules in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Parts Identification & Arrangement:Possess a strong understanding of heavy truck auto parts, including their types, functions, and common nomenclature in the aftermarket. Accurately identify, pick, and arrange parts from our warehouse or suppliers according to order specifications.

Safe and Timely Delivery:Operate a motorcycle to deliver auto parts to various locations across Dubai and potentially other Emirates, adhering strictly to delivery schedules and routes.

Route Optimization: Utilize navigation tools and local knowledge to plan and execute the most efficient delivery routes, minimizing travel time and fuel consumption.

Inventory Verification:Verify the accuracy of part orders against delivery manifests, ensuring all items are correctly picked and delivered.

Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any discrepancies. Provide clear and concise reports on delivery status, road conditions, and any incidents encountered.

Vehicle Maintenance:Conduct routine pre- and post-ride checks of the motorcycle to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Report any maintenance issues promptly.

Customer Service:Interact professionally with clients, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any immediate concerns or questions regarding the parts delivered.

Cash/Payment Handling (if applicable):Handle cash or other payment methods securely, as required, and accurately reconcile transactions.

Accountability:The Bike Rider will be held accountable for:

Accuracy of Deliveries: Ensuring the correct auto parts are delivered to the right client at the specified time. Timeliness of Deliveries: Adhering to agreed-upon delivery schedules and communicating any potential delays proactively. Condition of Delivered Goods: Ensuring all auto parts are delivered in excellent condition, without damage during transit. Adherence to Road Safety: Operating the motorcycle in full compliance with all UAE road safety laws and company safety protocols. Proper Documentation: Maintaining accurate and complete records for all deliveries and related activities. Professional Conduct: Representing Cannata Worldwide Cargo Services with professionalism and excellent customer service. Vehicle Condition: Maintaining the cleanliness and basic operational readiness of the assigned motorcycle.
Authority:

The Bike Rider will have the authority to:

Plan Delivery Routes: Within company guidelines, determine the most efficient routes for daily deliveries. Request Clarification: Seek clarification from the dispatch or warehouse team regarding part specifications, delivery instructions, or any ambiguities in orders. Report Issues: Immediately report any issues encountered during delivery, including traffic delays, vehicle malfunctions, or customer concerns. Refuse Unsafe Deliveries: Decline to undertake a delivery if the load is unsafe or the weather conditions pose an unacceptable risk after consulting with a supervisor.
Compliance with UAE Road Safety Rules and Regulations:

Strict adherence to all UAE road safety rules and regulations for motorcyclists is paramount. This includes, but is not limited to:

Possessing a valid UAE motorcycle driving license with a clean driving record. Wearing all required safety gear (helmet, protective clothing, gloves, and appropriate footwear) at all times. Maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles. Adhering to all speed limits (maximum 100 km/h for delivery bikes). Avoid phone usage while riding (use of mobile holders for navigation is permitted). Not riding on sidewalks or pedestrian lanes or undertaking dangerous maneuvers between traffic. Following all traffic signals and road signs diligently. Ensuring the motorcycle is always registered, licensed, and in roadworthy condition with all lights and indicators fully functional. Complying with regulations regarding the size and secure attachment of delivery boxes. Avoiding lane splitting and maintaining a single lane of travel.

Requirement

Proven experience as a auomative aftermarket r in the UAE, ideally with exposure to auto parts of Heavy truck or similar specialized deliveries. Good Understanding of the heavy truck maintenance and ERP system. In-depth knowledge of auto parts, particularly for heavy trucks and the aftermarket. Valid UAE motorcycle driving license with a clean driving record. Excellent knowledge of Dubai roads and navigation. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy packages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with GPS devices and delivery applications. High school diploma or equivalent.
