1) Involved in full cycle, end-to-end international project implementations playing a key role in designing and delivering data
solution to the business units
2) To participate and conclude on business requirements along with business stakeholders
3) Responsible for ensuring proper system design and good quality of code to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
4) Performance optimization. Identify areas of improvement/opportunities and convert them into project deliverables
5) Designing and implementing right data architecture for business use cases.
6) Ensuring data privacy, security and compliance by implementing appropriate access controls, encryption mechanism and
data governance policies in accordance with industry best practices and regulations.
7) Responsible for setting up monitoring systems and processes to track performance, availability and health of data
infrastructure and applications and minimize downtime for business.
8) Responsible for managing a team of data engineers and data scientists.
9) Responsible for change management within the organization as applicable
10) Well versed with Project Management principles such as Waterfall, Agile etc.
11) Prepare and conduct training for system users
12) Working closely with multiple business units on daily basis to achieve defined business objectives & goals
13) Stakeholder management

Experience:

1) Minimum 12 years of experience across the entire data value chain including data warehouses, data lakes, data lake
houses, big data, ETL, data modelling, data security, data governance and data visualization.
2) Minimum 3 full cycle implementations of data warehouse, data lake/ data lake house on AWS.
3) Good experience with data pipelines using cloud based ETL tools like AWS Glue, PySpark etc. Knowledge of tools like
Dagster will be added advantage.
4) Hands on experience on Databricks.
5) Strong experience of designing data models and code optimization on visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
6) Experience of creating data specifications and data standards.
7) Good knowledge of Facts, dimensions tables and various data schemas
8) Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and dashboards
9) Good understanding of SAP ecosystem especially HANA 2.0. Having knowledge on process areas of SAP FICO, SD, MM,
HR, EWM and PPQM areas will be added advantage.
10) Must be experienced in integration of BW with other systems with customized deltas.
11) Able to demonstrate ownership & accountability while driving & implementing data solutions for business.
12) Working experience in Retail Industry. Exposure to other industries such as Healthcare and FMCG is added advantage.
