invites a BI Developer in Abu Dhabi to join its team for working with a company from the UAE.

The

customer

is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The

project

focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Responsibilities:

- Partnering with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document reporting and data requirements.

- Designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines for the enterprise data warehouse.

- Performing data analysis and modelling to support reporting, compliance, and operational needs.

- Delivering end-to-end BI solutions, from requirements gathering through to reporting outputs.

- Supporting and optimizing the Kafka-based streaming solution, ensuring seamless data flow into the central warehouse.

- Managing data consumption and reporting through Looker, Metabase (Metabase is an open-source business intelligence (BI) tool that allows users to query, visualize, and share data), and external partner integrations.

- Maintaining and enhancing Airflow pipelines for external data delivery to partners (via SFTP and other channels).

- Applying strong Python and SQL skills for data transformation, automation, and analysis.

- Collaborating with the team on CI/CD practices, version control, and deployment workflows

Must-have:

- Experience as a BI Developer for 3+ years.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL.

- Knowledge of ETL tools and pipelines.

- Understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architecture.

- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps for BI solutions.

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills including ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting requirements.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with complex data problems.

- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation and attention to detail.

- Self-starter capable of driving initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Level of English - from Upper-Intermediate and above.
