Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced

BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) Technical Specialist

to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge of BESS systems, energy storage integration, and grid-tied applications. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting energy storage projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical design and engineering support for BESS projects. Evaluate system specifications, design layouts, and performance models. Work with project teams to ensure integration of storage with solar, diesel, or grid systems. Collaborate with OEMs and technology providers for system component selection. Oversee testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of energy storage systems. Provide technical documentation, SLDs, schematics, and interface diagrams. Ensure compliance with international and local electrical codes and grid regulations. Support tender documentation, proposals, and technical presentations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in BESS systems design and implementation. Electrical or Power Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's). Hands-on experience with lithium-ion battery systems, PCS, EMS, and SCADA integration. Knowledge of grid-connected systems and hybrid solutions. Strong technical troubleshooting and project management skills. Familiarity with major BESS manufacturers and integration protocols. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
