About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Bell Attendant to join the Concierge team in a Jumeirah Pe-opening Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

Always have a smiling, helpful and friendly attitude towards colleagues and guests alike and always provide a courteous and professional service.

Open the car door for all guests arriving at or leaving from the main entrance in a polite and courteous manner and greet them with a warm smile.

Assist guests with loading & unloading of luggage as well as delivering it to and collecting it from the guest\'s room ensuring that no damage is being done to any piece of luggage.

Deliver any faxes, messages, parcels, mail, newspapers, etc. to guest rooms in a timely manner and always verifying the guest\'s name and room number.

Record any luggage deliveries and storages accurately on the correct form.

Assist guests with directions within the hotel (i.e. guide them to their room, a restaurant etc.)

Be aware of and follow all relevant SOPs and Jumeirah Policies & Procedures.

Issue luggage tags to the guests correctly.

Maintain a record of the car/taxi number plate for departing guests.

Coordinate with Housekeeping to keep the Lobby clean at all times.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Secondary School certificate

2 years guest service experience in a 5-star Hotel

Fluency in written and spoken English

Local area knowledge

Extrovert
