The opportunity offers hands-on experience in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, Public Relations and integrated marketing firm. We seek self-starters, open to gaining broad experience and sharing creativity through creative ideas and editorial content. The incumbent will work on developing content for Beauty, and consumer product reviews. The position also includes Research, photo sourcing, and writing news articles online. The ideal candidate is deeply interested in all things beauty and how it\'s connected to identity and culture and is always searching for innovative products and quality newness that excites our readers and serves their needs. From a buzzy new skincare line to the latest nail art, the Columnist will be eagerly seeking out what works (and what doesn\'t) and reporting back. ** Key Skills:
- Written & oral communication skills;

- computer, technical, and organizational skills;
- ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Supporting the Senior Beauty Editor with our regular beauty features, from generating exciting new ideas, to writing copy.
- Providing support with the overall planning of beauty editorial and calendar events.
- Digital experience is preferable.
- Excellent writing skills and creative thinking.
- In-depth knowledge and passion for the beauty industry.
- Natural organizational abilities and strong attention to detail are a must.
- Personal attributes/Behavioral skills:
- This is a role that combines a flair for writing, an excellent understanding of editorial digital content, and brilliant people skills to form strong relationships with key cross-functional team members, facilitating the delivery of best-in-class editorial content.
- Qualifications:
- Integrity and honesty a must
- Excellent portfolio
- 1 - 5 yrs or more demonstrated experience in Journalism or Freelance journalism
- Displays effective writing skills;
- Able to work in a team and independent setting;
- Detail-oriented and conscientious; requiring little follow-up;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
- candidate displays a high level of achievement within his/her chosen field.
