About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Life Guard to join our Pool and Beach Department in Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Ensures that all activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah International Quality Management System.
• Adhere to the Emirates Towers Hotel policies and procedures
• Attend to all guests at The Health Club efficiently using a professional and cheerful manner at all times
• Correctly process any requests, and give accurate information
• To provide towels and robes and necessary requirements to ensure guest satisfaction
• To have thorough knowledge of all the services offered at The Health Club and to promote these services to the guests
• Be proactive in all areas in The Health Club
• To maintain the 10/20 rule of scanning the pool and to respond to any situation within the pool and surrounding area offering immediate first aid treatment and CPR if necessary
• To ensure the pool and surrounding areas are maintained to a superior level ensuring strict cleanliness in regulation to The Emirates Towers Hotel Health and Safety and be proficient in lifesaving and CPR
• Checks the first aid kit, oxygen unit and other paramedic\'s supplies daily.
• To complete the daily checklist in an efficient and cheerful manner
• To carry out reasonable duties as requested by management
• Participate in any scheduled training programs
• Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Must have a college diploma or equivalent
• Must have at least 1 year experience in a similar position
• Must be certified in a First Aid Qualification
