The BDM Data Center is responsible for developing a preference for Belimo products with targeted, major data center owners with global headquarters and/or in-house global engineering centers located in the EMEA Region. The BDM DC will develop and maintain relationships within the executive, facility design/management, engineering, and procurement ranks of these accounts in order to increase sales across all Belimo sales channels
The BDM DC is responsible for the further development and expansion of Belimo's data center business. Together with the country representatives, he/she ensures that a strategy is created for this vertical market and derived from this, initiatives that contribute to achieving the ambitious, planned growth of the ME region. Furthermore, she/he will continuously measure and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness that enhance customer relationships, product positioning and brand recognition. The BDM DC will drive a culture of openness and collaboration across multinational teams and countries.
What You'll Do
Develops a well-defined vertical market strategy with a unique Belimo value proposition for targeted, Enterprise and Colocation Data Center owner accounts.
Builds personal relationships with executives, facility designers / managers, engineering managers, and procurement managers at targeted accounts in order to develop a preference for Belimo products at those accounts.
Works closely with local CRAC/CRAH Manufacturers technical personnel and develops them to expand Belimo's share of wallet
Provides a superior level of support to target accounts regardless of the sales channel they choose to use to procure Belimo products through.
Leverages Belimo's customization and technology advantages, tailored to the desires of specific target accounts, to help create value, brand preference, and long-term loyalty.
Makes use of CRM to communicate target account project details to all involved Belimo personnel.
Works closely with Belimo team members across all sales channels to insure successful sales outcomes on projects involving targeted accounts
Develops annual revenue goals for target accounts and utilize CRM to track achievement against those goals
Develops and maintain a database of all known projects in "sales funnel" and insure the appropriate Belimo team members are kept informed of project specific developments.
Shares best practices and coordinate the pursuit of global data center projects with the EMEA Data Center team.
Becomes active and network within data center industry trade organizations in the ME.
Support the EMEA Data Center team for codeveloping the 1-5-10 years growth strategy and a business plan for this market
Coaches the country management teams in developing their data center's strategy and business plan and makes sure that the strategies are in line with the Marketing and Sales Strategy of EMEA
Assists the subsidiaries regarding the budgeting of data center business
Monitors the performance of the data center business and initiates corrective actions if needed
Is a member of the Sales Development Team of the Region EMEA
Meets targets in accordance with the target agreement concluded with the Head of Sales Development EMEA
