2. The Context / Purpose of the Job
Align with overall objectives of TMT Projects & Solutions to meet long- and short-term objectives for the division
by providing complete Design detailing support for Downstream business. The role will be to help in
detailing services required by the business to serve the customers for finalising the BBS for
Readybuild (Cut & Bend) and the production parameters of Sm@rtFAB (welded wire mesh). This will
also require conversion of existing conventional design to downstream solution-based design.
He should have thorough understanding of the Indian and International codes which are relevant for the
structural design and detailing with expertise in using Digital tools like CuBe+, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro,
ETABS, Tekla, Revit, etc.
3. Job responsibilities:

1. Focus on generating Value for the customers through design and detail engineering (Bar bending).
Schedule and Welded wire mesh schedule) for concrete structures required for various applications
in different segments.
1. Develop BBS and placement drawings for Welded wire meshes.
2. Implementation and adaptation of International and Indian Standards and industrial best practices
3. Checking for completeness and correctness of deliverables.
4. Quantity Estimation for various requirements of the projects across all locations and accordingly
making the BBS.
5. Work on methods for Detailing level optimisation using Detailing software and 3D tools like BIM.
6. Part of team for creating or evolving procedures for executing the Engineering and Design activities
converging towards stake holders expectations/requirements.
Customers: Private and public contractors; Large and small-sized project customers
Influencers: Architects, Engineers, Masons, Govt Bodies
4. Knowledge, skills and experience
Educational qualifications Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil)
Relevant experience
Min. 3 years of experience with deep knowledge on BBS, RCC
Detailing, Design, Construction, Project management, Safety and
Quality standards.
Threshold skills and
