Your Key Tasks:

Technical

Running the machine as per instructions to achieve the maximum efficiency while adhering to all safety, and quality requirements.
Ensuring that all process parameters are correctly set and takes corrective actions to prevent deviation from the product specifications.
Ensures that hygienic operation is observed and in place at any given time of production operation.
Responsible in product quality.
Maintain the safe working atmosphere of the operation and contribute to hazard reporting process of the factory.
Ensure high level of line and machine housekeeping at all times and observe the standard machine cleaning, inspection, and lubrication procedure.
Able to perform minor machine adjustments and fault findings
Actively participate in continuous improvements projects.
To perform other duties as required by the situation.
Adhere to all Unilever Health, Safety and Environmental systems & procedures.
Prioritize losses in production area. Apply rigorous Cost Deployment and Zero loss concept to eliminate losses.
QSHE
- Utilize all appropriate safety and environmental procedures relating to the Sourcing Unit and allocated equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the whole team. Understand the legal responsibility placed upon individuals.
- Full Working knowledge of material handling ergonomically
- Workplace Hazards \xe2\x80\x93 Full knowledge of the workplace and hazards within it. Utilize all appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products and equipment relevant to the task. Ensure GHK of the concerned area to eliminate risk of creation of hazards
- Environment - Reduce environmental impacts and costs associated with utilities, chemicals and product and operational wastes through maximizing eco-efficient operation.
- Quality - Monitors quality against set standards and reports any product and packaging faults. Detects process abnormalities quickly and takes emergency action to prevent them and able to perform basic quality checks.
  
  Other Requirements
  
  Must be flexible within pattern of shift work to accommodate factory shutdowns, training courses, to meet increase in demands etc.
  
  Has the ability to adapt rapidly to change and situational cases in the production line
  
  A self-motivated individual with a passion to grow and help his colleague grow as well
  
  Ability to understand company requirements and translate it as his work output
  
  Possess initiative and punctuality
  
  Basic Computer Operating knowledge
  
  Experience
  Must have a minimum of 2-year experience in manufacturing company with high quality & safety standards
  
  Teabag experience is an advantage (Perfecta, Filling, Overwrapping and Case packing technologies) \xe2\x80\x93 Min 1 yr.
  
  Experience of working as part of an extended team within the manufacturing sector.
  
  Qualification
  
  Machine Operator-Process -ENTRY Level
  
  Demonstrating basic mechanical knowledge and ability to problem solve in a factory environment.
  
  Strong Team player and communication skills.
  
  Reading and Comprehension
  
  English Speaking & Writing
  
  Mathematics.
