Job Description

The Barista/Cashier is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and handling cash transactions accurately. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards. Operate espresso machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate cash drawer balances. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including workstations and seating areas. Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items when appropriate. Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role preferred. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
