The Barista Trainer is responsible for training and developing new and existing baristas to deliver consistent, high-quality coffee and exceptional customer service. The trainer ensures that all staff adhere to company standards, recipes, and presentation, while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hands-on barista training sessions on coffee preparation, latte art, machine maintenance, and hygiene standards.
Evaluate trainees' performance and provide constructive feedback to improve skills and efficiency.
Maintain and update training manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to coffee preparation and service.
Ensure consistency in coffee taste, presentation, and overall quality across all outlets or branches.
Monitor inventory of coffee supplies, beans, and equipment during training.
Collaborate with management to identify training needs and schedule training programs accordingly.
Stay updated with coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new product offerings.
Support bar operations when required, ensuring smooth workflow during peak hours.
Motivate and guide the team to maintain customer satisfaction and achieve sales goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Barista Trainer, Head Barista, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to train individuals with varying levels of experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Customer-oriented attitude and team player.
Certification in coffee training or barista skills (preferred but not required).
