Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and take their orders.
Provide product recommendations and answer customer questions about coffee and menu items.
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision and care.
Steam milk, pour latte art, and ensure beverages are visually appealing.
Accurately handle cash and process customer payments.
Maintain a clean and organized coffee bar and work area.
Restock coffee beans, pastries, and other cafe supplies as needed.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety and sanitation practices.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup and cleanup.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive customer experience.
Attend training sessions to learn about new coffee products and brewing methods.
Keep up-to-date with coffee industry trends and customer preferences.
Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Uphold the cafe\'s brand image and commitment to quality.
Perform other tasks as directed by the cafe manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
Passion for coffee and knowledge of different coffee beans, roasts, and brewing methods.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cafe environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
