Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented

Barista cum Waiter

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality

beverages, simple food items such as sandwiches and breakfast dishes

, while providing excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee and tea

(hot and cold), fresh juices, smoothies, milkshakes, and other specialty beverages, as well as simple food items such as sandwiches, toasts,

and other light meals according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Operate and maintain

espresso machines, blenders, juicers, and other cafe equipment

safely and efficiently. Ensure consistent

taste, temperature, and quality

in every drink served. Refill and rotate stock of

coffee beans, tea leaves, milk, fruits, syrups, ice, and other ingredients

as needed. Maintain the

cleanliness and organization

of the beverage preparation area, equipment, and utensils. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or maintenance needs to the supervisor. Adhere to

food safety and hygiene standards

at all times. Provide product recommendations and upsell beverages or add-ons to enhance customer satisfaction Greet and seat customers politely, present menus, and take accurate food and beverage orders. Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure an exceptional dining experience. Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area. Respond to customer requests and resolve any issues professionally and courteously. Process payments accurately through the POS system. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations

Requirements:

Previous experience as a

Barista

,

Waiter/Waitress

, or in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of coffee preparation, food service standards, and basic POS operation. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a

fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Basic math skills for handling cash and orders.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Barista or hospitality training certification is an advantage.
