Job Description
The Barista - Catering is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light refreshments during catering events. The role involves ensuring consistent product standards, excellent guest service, and smooth operation of mobile or event-based coffee stations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, and other beverages at catering events. Set up and operate mobile coffee stations or catering service areas. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of equipment and service stations. Engage with guests, take beverage requests, and provide professional, friendly service. Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, and supplies; restock as needed during events. Ensure beverages are prepared according to company quality standards. Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering equipment before and after events. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations. Support the catering team in other service areas when required.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a barista, preferably in catering or hospitality. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods and espresso machines. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage high service volumes. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules.
