Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management: o Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including bartenders, barbacks, and servers. o Train new staff members on bar procedures, drink recipes, and customer service standards. o Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
2. Customer Service: o Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring prompt and accurate service. o Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. o Monitor guest satisfaction and take proactive steps to enhance the overall guest experience.
3. Beverage Inventory Management: o Maintain accurate inventory records of all beverages, including alcohol, mixers, and garnishes. o Monitor stock levels and place orders with suppliers as needed to ensure adequate supply. o Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and minimize waste.
4. Bar Operations: o Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol. o Oversee the setup and breakdown of the bar area, including cleanliness and organization. o Enforce safety and hygiene standards to create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
5. Sales and Promotion: o Develop and implement strategies to increase bar revenue, such as creating signature cocktails or promoting special events. o Upsell premium beverages and encourage guests to try new offerings
