JOB PURPOSE Responsible for assisting with the overall supervision of the bar operations to achieve optimal departmental profitability, quality service and standards, and guest satisfaction JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Maintain an effective bar service with an emphasis on high quality and efficient service 2. Oversee and supervise the Bar operations and Bar team 3. Ensure that team members are well-trained and proficient in all beverage and pastry recipes and presentation (i.e. proper mixing, serving, presentation) 4. Prepare the weekly work schedules based on business demands and manning guidelines 5. Conduct pre-shift briefings with the team and review all information pertinent to set-up and service 6. Create and ensure that the opening and closing checklists are being followed 7. Ensure that guests' orders are prepared in a timely manner, orders are checked for accuracy, serve as a liaison between the front-of-house and Bar team 8. Monitor inventory and ensure that all materials and equipment are adequately stocked 9. Responsible for labeling and stocking all ingredients, ensuring that all team members practice FIFO 10. Plan, develop, and implement training program to the team members 11. Establish performance and development goals for team members; provider mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve performance 12. Monitor and handle guest complaints in a timely and efficient manner, taking corrective action when required to prevent similar recurrences 13. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all menu items in order to be able to describe and recommend products to guests 14. Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures and follow health and safety practices at all times 15. Carry out additional tasks as instructed by the Management JOB SPECIFICATION 1. With 2-3 years of relevant experience in Hospitality or F&B field 2. Good working knowledge in restaurant management software and POS system 3.
