Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar and Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic team and oversee the operations of our establishment. As the Bar and Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, effective staff management, and efficient overall operations to deliver an outstanding dining and drinking experience for our guests. Responsibilities: - Lead, train, and motivate the bar and restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service standards and customer satisfaction. - Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, including food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality control. - Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a smooth workflow, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory requirements. - Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control for bar and kitchen supplies to minimize waste and control costs. - Create and manage staff schedules ensuring adequate coverage for peak periods while controlling labor costs. - Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement strategies for improvement. - Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop menus, special promotions, and seasonal offerings to meet customer expectations. - Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. - Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed guest expectations. - Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement. Qualifications and Skills: - Previous experience as a Bar and Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry. - Degree or diploma in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. - Solid understanding of bar and restaurant operations, including food and beverage preparation, service standards, and cost control. - Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers. - Financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and make sound business decisions. - Passion for quality customer service and a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience. - Knowledge of food safety and licensing regulations and ability to maintain compliance. - Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
