Position Overview



We are looking for a detail-oriented and compliance-driven

Banking Sales Governance Officer

to support our growing banking sales operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all sales activities align with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards--while enabling sales teams to perform efficiently and ethically.

Key Responsibilities



1. Sales Governance & Compliance



Ensure sales teams strictly adhere to bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical sales practices. Act as a key point of coordination with internal compliance and operations teams for policy updates and risk controls. Promote a strong compliance culture across all sales channels.

2. Documentation & Quality Control



Perform thorough pre-submission checks on sales files and applications. Identify discrepancies, missing documents, or compliance gaps and coordinate with team leaders for timely resolution. Ensure complete and accurate documentation to improve approval ratios.

3. Process Monitoring & Quality Audits



Monitor daily sales activities to ensure alignment with approved scripts, processes, and standards. Audit sales calls, customer interactions, and application handling to maintain high-quality benchmarks. Immediately report any deviations, misconduct, or policy breaches to management.

4. Reporting & Performance Analysis



Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly governance and quality reports. Analyze approval trends, rejection reasons, and documentation accuracy to support continuous improvement. Share actionable insights with management and sales leadership.

5. Training & Sales Support



Guide sales teams on KYC requirements, documentation standards, and updated banking regulations. Support onboarding and training of new joiners on governance and compliance procedures. Act as a subject-matter resource for compliance-related queries.

6. Risk Management & Regulatory Control



Identify high-risk cases, suspicious profiles, and potential fraudulent activities. Escalate AML, KYC, and risk concerns as per company SOPs and regulatory requirements. Ensure strict adherence to AML and customer onboarding norms at all times.

Skills & QualificationsRequired



1-2 years of experience in banking sales operations, governance, compliance, or back-office functions. Strong working knowledge of KYC, AML, and bank compliance frameworks. High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems, and documentation tools. Clear communication skills with strong reporting capability.

Preferred



Experience in credit cards, personal loans, or banking telesales governance. Familiarity with UAE banking regulations and customer on boarding processes.
