Qualification Required- Must be a Ballet Certified.
- Must have Minimum of 2 Years Experience.
- Structure and teach ballet classes following the School’s System of Training
- Maintain appropriate staff/student relationships
- Counsel students as required
- Supervise rehearsals
- Attend demonstrations, auditions and lectures
- Chaperone/attend rehearsals and performances at the Royal Opera House which include the School’s students
- Participate in the audition selection process as required
- Produce written assessments on student progress
- Record and report on student attendance
- Attend staff meetings and training usually within normal working hours but also others that fall before the start, or at the end of each term
- Liaise with the School’s Medical team on student injury and rehabilitation
- Communicate with parents of students as required by the Line Manager
- Record notes of conversations with parents
- Attend Continuing Professional Development training / INSET
- Any other duties as may reasonably be required and that fall within the scope and range of the job.
