The Balance Sheet Management Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in

Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.

Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the effective management of balance sheet resources within the country as well as the technology or operations of the business. The role supports the Country Treasurer in ensuring Citi UAE has robust

liquidity and capital management practices, consistent with global policy and local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Contributes to the management of the Balance Sheet of each Legal Entity and disciplined practices in managing treasury risk exposures

Participates in managing liquidity and interest rate risk, Funds Transfer Pricing, the capital/legal entity structure and capital planning as well as managing rating agency relationships.

Supports monitoring of resultant liquidity and interest rate risks on the balance sheet, and adhering to buffers, limits, triggers and reporting integrity, of local regulatory and global requirements.

Supports the Country Treasurer in business engagement and ALCOs; ensuring the primary responsibilities of Country ALCO are covered and governance best practices are adhered to as laid out in policy

Exposure to Citi\xe2\x80\x99s balance sheet and develop understanding of data and technology infrastructure supporting the liquidity reporting process.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Knowledge/Experience:

Prior Treasury and /or Finance experience required

Knowledge of capital market, transaction services and securities is desirable

Skills:

Strong and proven analytical skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to handle tight deadlines and multi-task

Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise objectives

Must be able to understand complex financial concepts and distil into clear, concise and simplified concepts.

Experience with understanding and preparing analytics for a senior audience
