Bakery Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Bakery Assistant to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with food, helping customers, and being part of a fast-paced, positive environment. No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in keeping our bakery running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily bakery operations, including preparing, packaging, and displaying baked goods
Serve customers, take orders, and handle payments
Keep the bakery clean, organized, and well-stocked
Support bakers with basic food prep as needed
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Open and/or close the bakery depending on shift
Requirements
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate items
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as required
Previous bakery or food service experience is Mandatory
