to support daily production in our central kitchen. The ideal candidate will assist bakers with preparation, mixing, shaping, baking, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure smooth bakery operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings.
Help in shaping, portioning, and baking bread, pastries, and bakery items.
Operate basic bakery equipment such as mixers, sheeters, ovens, and proofer (training provided).
Properly weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
Label, store, and organize raw materials using FIFO method.
Package bakery products neatly and according to company standards.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment at all times.
Assist in loading/unloading bakery items for delivery.
Follow hygiene and food safety guidelines (personal hygiene, gloves, hairnet, sanitization).
Support bakers in daily production and prep work.
Report low stock, damaged items, or equipment issues to supervisors.
Perform any other tasks required to ensure smooth kitchen operation.
Requirements
Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is a plus.
Basic knowledge of bakery processes (mixing, proofing, baking) preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and SOPs accurately.
Physically fit to stand for long hours and lift up to 20 kg.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Flexible timing, including early-morning or night shifts if required.
Preferred Skills
Experience with commercial bakery equipment.
Basic knowledge of HACCP and food safety.
Interest in baking and willingness to learn
