Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Cake Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in baking sponge cakes, layered cakes, and a variety of desserts, along with a passion for quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts according to recipes and design specifications. Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation. Collaborate with the cake decorator/designer to achieve high-quality finished products. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area. Manage ingredient inventory and report shortages. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Occasionally assist with decorating and packaging when needed.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a cake baker or pastry chef (experience in Dubai preferred). Strong knowledge and practical experience in: Mixing and baking sponge and chiffon cakes Leveling, layering, and filling cakes Baking consistency and oven temperature control Using buttercream, ganache, and other frostings Handling mousse and cream fillings Basic sugar syrup preparation and soaking methods Ability to follow recipes accurately and ensure product consistency. Basic English communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Passion for creativity and presentation.
