Our prestigious Restaurant located in Madinat Zayed Western Region serving a selection of Italian food and Cafe is seeking a skilled and creative Baker/Pastry Chef to join us urgently. If you have a passion for crafting different type of Croissant, exquisite desserts and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a wide variety of goods such as Croissant, Cakes, Cookies, Pies, Bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers. Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.
Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking. Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently.
Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
Having an excellent knowledge about food costing.
Requirements:
willing to relocate to Madinat Zayed Western Region is a must
Previous experience as a Baker/Pastry Chef or relevant role in a cafe or bakery.
Strong understanding of various pastry techniques and recipe development.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
Excellent knowledge of food costing and budget management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
