Baker

to join our Central Kitchen team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide variety of high-quality baked goods, including manaaesh and other Levantine products, while following standardized recipes and maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, mix, and bake doughs, pastries, and other baked goods according to company recipes and quality standards. Ensure consistency and quality in all baked products. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the Kitchen Supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products. Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items. Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers, safely and efficiently. Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and meet daily product demands. Assist in training and mentoring junior bakers and kitchen staff as required.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Baker, with a strong portfolio of baked goods production (minimum of 2-3 years in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting). Knowledge of baking techniques, recipe development, and food safety standards. Experience with bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofing systems. Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality products. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Culinary degree or formal training is a plus but not required.
