Job Summary
Lumiere Sweets & Pastries is looking for a dedicated and skilled Baker to join our production team. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking high-quality bakery products while ensuring consistency, hygiene, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake bakery items such as breads, rolls, croissants, and related products according to standard recipes.
Follow daily production plans and ensure timely output.
Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, and appearance.
Operate bakery equipment and ovens safely and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Monitor raw material usage and report shortages to the supervisor.
Reduce wastage by following proper storage and handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
Support team members and assist in achieving daily production targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a Baker in a professional bakery or production kitchen.
Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP knowledge is an advantage).
Good time management and attention to detail.
Team-oriented, reliable, and disciplined.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
