Our client has a 30-year-old legacy that engages in both international and local trade of petroleum products, with expanding operational holdings worldwide. It is widely recognized in global trade and actively contributes to local partnerships in every location it serves.

They are looking for a Tagalog speaking Back office & Compliance officer to join their team in Dubai.

Job description:

Government Liaison
  • Work as the Primary point of contact between the company and the government authorities
  • Ensure the timely processing / renewal of permits, Licenses , Certifications , Collect and submission of government applications.
  • Liaise with DMCC / DIFC / DEWA / Dubai Courts / DIFC Courts / Ejari / Freezone authorities / Banks / Economic Departments , Municipality (but not limited to) to maintain required compliances & Documentation.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship / rapport with all related authorities/ agencies and be prepared to successfully handle / mitigate damages to the company.
  • Renewal / new applications of lease agreements, tenancy contracts (but not limited to) by coordination with related parties.
Visa & Immigration Services
  • Liaise with respective typing offices / agencies and manage all aspects of Visa and Immigration Services ensure the compliance with UAE laws & regulations.
  • Adhere to the DMCC/DIFC visa and work-permit compliances.
Compliance
  • Communicate all latest updates of laws, regulations, government policies of Dubai and U.A.E. and ensuring that the companys timely adherence to all legal requirements.
  • Consistently meet standards and requirements. 4. General Documentation & Record Keeping
  • Coordinate with Banks to open bank accounts and maintain banking compliance with the support of finance team.
  • Handling Government Portals
  • Document Clearance Works by liaising with respective typing offices / agencies timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all internal-external communications, permits, Licenses , Certifications, and other documentation related to Public Relation activities.
  • Arrange the payments to all service providers / government authorities and maintain the records.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings / appointments for senior management. 5. Budget Management
  • Manage the budget allocated for Back Office & Compliance / Public Relation / Government-related activities and ensure cost-effective compliance maintenance.
  • Maintain the Petty-Cash float of the office and responsible for submitting and reconcile expenses report monthly basis with supporting documents.
Qualifications:
  • Higher Education
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office applications in particular)
  • Strong understanding of Back Office & Compliance activities in Dubai & Familiar with DIFC / DMCC rules , regulations, and compliance.
  • Proven experience as a Back Office & Compliance or similar role in Dubai
  • Excellence Verbal and written in English & Negotiation Skills
  • Attention to the detail and strong Organizing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities.
