Job Purpose

We are seeking an AWS Certified professional to join our IT Infrastructure and Cloud Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing our AWS cloud environment, including both traditional AWS services and newly deployed Terraform-based infrastructure automation. This role requires hands-on expertise in AWS core services, infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, security, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) Design and implement secure, high-availability architectures for production and non-production workloads Monitor system performance and scalability Manage cost optimization and resource utilization Develop, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform Implement reusable Terraform modules and manage state across environments Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments and configurations Enforce IAM best practices and implement AWS security tools (Config, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.) Monitor and troubleshoot using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools Integrate Terraform and AWS into CI/CD pipelines Automate operational tasks using scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional or SysOps Administrator (mandatory) 3-5 years of hands-on AWS management experience Proven experience with Terraform infrastructure automation Strong understanding of AWS networking, IAM, EC2, CloudFormation, and Lambda Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) Solid Linux/Windows administration knowledge Familiarity with monitoring tools and AWS cost optimization
Preferred Skills

Experience with containerization (ECS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and automation frameworks Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2) Experience with AWS Organizations setup Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and documentation skills Proactive and ownership-driven Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
