Job Description

GCG business in the UAE has a robust wealth management proposition serving a wide range of global customers, with an expansive suite of offerings ranging from investment products, secured lending, insurance products and treasury/ FX products across an open architecture platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the local investment products offering, with special focus on Mutual Funds, Secured Lending, Structured Notes and Alternative Investments product proposition with the aim of enhancing their contribution to overall wealth management revenues as per country plan.
  • Design & end-to-end implementation of investment campaigns & RM tacticals in order to increase investment penetration as well as increase investment active clients.
  • Be responsible for Segment specific differentiation & investment product offers, to keep attractiveness of customer proposition intact and continuously present, in line with regional & global initiatives.
  • Closely work with key stakeholders to timely resolve any issues and make tangible improvements on the client experience journey.
  • Communicate to internal & external stakeholders consistently important KPI metrics such as Investor Profile, Investment Penetration and new Investment Accounts in order to increase awareness and focus on key qualitative and quantitative targets.
  • Be responsible for the timely renewal of Product Programs, process manuals within the stated guidelines.
  • Maintain ownership & excellent understanding of booking systems used in order to facilitate and enable system enhancements as per regional guidelines
  • Closely cooperate with the Investment Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of all aspects of process and controls, including documentation completeness.
  • Efficiently support the front line sales team efforts by providing them timely responses on product related requests
  • Maintain Audit readiness at all times, achieve satisfactory internal and external audit ratings and provide relevant inputs into the periodic Manager\xe2\x80\x99s Control Assessment reviews in order to mitigate operational risks in the product platform & respective processes.
  • Liaise with Regional product team counterparts to implement regional product processes and solutions.
  • Ensure seamless cooperation with the Advisory team on the implementation of product strategies, model portfolio within and in-line with the advisory framework.
  • Monitor local competitive landscape on a periodic basis and identify strategic opportunities for investment product or service offering optimization.

Competencies:
  • High level analytical skills with in-depth knowledge on financial markets
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as investment product specialist, investment advisory, insurance product specialist or investment operations
  • Experience in similar role outside or within Citibank preferred
  • Experience in the financial industry with strong knowledge of financial products and services, across different economic environments.
  • Deep understanding of the asset allocation process in the context of portfolio management.
  • Ability to deliver Key Performance Indicators in a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of risk management & margin finance a positive.
  • Knowledge of Citigroup\'s investment offering, processes and product governance framework is preferred.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
Qualifications:
  • University graduate in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or relevant disciplines. Preferably CFA or Master of Finance/ Economics/ Financial Engineering background
