JOB PURPOSE:

To perform analytics activity related to Customer/Transaction information across the Group Compliance systems for deploying fit-for-purpose Payment Screening system with periodic tuning of the system to improve the quality of alerts taking into account Global Regulatory/Bank\'s Policy requirements and periodically prepare management information reports to defined stakeholders.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Policies, Systems, Process & Procedures
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that the work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Continuous Improvement
  • Support the Compliance Technology, Data and Reporting Department in identifying continuous improvement and sustainability improvement opportunities for the related system, processes and practices.
  • Support in implementation of Group compliance sanctions screening systems road map as agreed with the Compliance management and keep Head of Tuning - Firco Systems, Project Lead & Head of Compliance Technology, Data and Reporting updated.
  • Ensure & Manage proactive steps are taken to work with Group IT and other stakeholders of the payment screening system projects to draw BRD/FSD to ensure fit for business compliance Sanction screening systems are designed.
  • Perform Compliance mandated Sanction Screening projects and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure its smooth and proper delivery and provide periodic status update to the Head of Tuning - Firco Systems, Project Lead & the Head of Compliance Technology, Data and Reporting.
  • Ensure comprehensive SIT/UAT is carried out including negative testing for every project with relevant resources and ensure successful completion.
  • Deliver relevant user training to all the affected users to ensure smooth go live.
  • Ensure all relevant payment screening system changes required in the existing platform as per business requirements are well co-ordinated as change requests with Group IT setting timelines, creating programme structures and installing/updating systems architecture where appropriate to support compliance capabilities for major changes.
  • To ensure fit for purpose algorithms, parameters, rules are deployed for the Group as per agreement with Head of Sanctions and to work on continuous tuning of payment screening system to improve the quality of alerts.
  • Ensure sanctions screening system effectively screens information against the Head of Sanctions/Bank approved global lists & individual country lists for all FAB locations locally and internationally.
Technology
  • Assist in producing procedures and processes aligned to Group Policy of new Group TDR function
  • Assist in exercises such as design and system architecture of sanctions screening systems by consulting with relevant business users.
  • Ensure proper UAT sessions & exercises for compliance Sanction Screening system implementation.
  • Manage periodic testing of payment screening systems, including data testing, quality and completeness, underlying models, logic, rules etc.
  • Perform the management of change orders for modifications and upgrades to sanctions screening related systems and tools development.
  • Oversee and support system updates in response to risks identified or GIA (
Group Internal Audit) findings.

Data Analysis
  • Perform periodic testing of payment/customer screening system to identify, record, risk assess and close gaps found.
  • Carry out ongoing tuning of payment/customer screening systems to maintain consistency, appropriate efficiency and effectiveness.
  • In conjunction with the Head of Sanctions, understand and provide support to all FAB\'s local and international locations for country specific configuration and its related performance of payment screening systems by understanding and adequately addressing their requirement with regards to International Sanctions.
  • Advising and partnering with related IT teams for Compliance related system selections, minor or major systemic changes or upgrades, new system implementation, and any initiatives impacting the performance of the sanctions screening systems.
Reporting
  • Collaborate with Compliance SMEs to develop Compliance related MI dashboards.
  • Develop periodic reporting plan and maintain the schedule and workflow for multiple reports.
  • Populate management information dashboards by extracting relevant data from source systems including using logical queries and basic programming.
  • Collaborate with Compliance colleagues to obtain information to populate dashboards.
  • Submit MI dashboards to team lead for review.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science/Technology or Compliance
Minimum Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in risk analysis, data management and sanctions screening systems
  • Familiar with Sanctions
  • Strong knowledges and experience on the Firco filter, Firco Utilities and Firco backends
Good knowledges in SQL, PowerBI, and scripting language is a plus
