Job Description
Job Purpose
To provide the highest standard of medical care of the company staff, within the quality and accreditation standards, to meet the regulatory requirements of the UAE civil aviation authority and health authorities.
Key Result Responsibilities
Healthcare of the A/C members:
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
To provide the highest standard of medical care of the company staff, within the quality and accreditation standards, to meet the regulatory requirements of the UAE civil aviation authority and health authorities.
Key Result Responsibilities
Healthcare of the A/C members:
- Selection
- Period assessment
- Treating flying related health disorders
- Medical training & education
- Travel fitness
- Med link services and the use of EMK and FAK
- Uplift meals and water supply supervision
- Alcohol & drug screening tests
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- \xe2\x86\xb5Post-graduate degree in aviation medicine or family or occupational medicine or General practitioner from an accredited Medical Institution.
- Licensed as a specialist or consultant by one of the UAE health authorities
- Designated as an AME by the civil aviation authority (GCAA or any other GCAA CAA).
- Minimum of 10 years as a doctor.
- Minimum of 3 years as specialist
- Minimum of 3 years as an AME
- Ability to work as 24-hour shift pattern/ roster.
