Job Description
We are seeking a
qualified and motivated Veterinary Avian Nurse
to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will haveexperience with avian patients
and becomfortable assisting with small animals
, includingcats and dogs
, when required.Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with
avian examinations, treatments, and procedures
Providenursing care for birds
, including handling, monitoring, and hospitalization Supportsmall animal (cats & dogs)
consultations, diagnostics, and basic procedures Prepare and maintaintreatment areas, equipment, and patient records
Monitor patients post-procedure and during hospitalization Educate clients onavian and small animal care
, nutrition, and medication Maintain high standards ofhygiene, safety, and animal welfare
Requirements
Veterinary Nurse qualification or equivalent Arabic language is a must
Experience with avian species is essential
Basic to moderate experience withcats and dogs
Confident handling of birds and small animals Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Ability to work in abusy clinical environment
Preferred
Experience in exotic or referral clinics Knowledge of avian anaesthesia and nursing protocols Previous work experience in the Middle East
