Job Description

Job Summary:

The AV Programmer will be responsible for programming, configuring, and testing AV control systems for commercial and corporate projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in Crestron, AMX, Extron, or similar systems, along with a good understanding of AV integration, networking, and troubleshooting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Program and configure AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC, Biamp, etc.). Develop and upload control system code, GUI, and device drivers. Integrate and test AV systems including displays, audio, video conferencing, and lighting controls. Conduct system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting at client sites. Work with project engineers and design teams to finalize AV system functionality. Prepare programming documentation and system configuration reports. Provide remote and onsite support for system upgrades or troubleshooting. Ensure all programming meets client and company standards. Collaborate with installation and commissioning teams to ensure project completion. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AV hardware and software tools.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or IT Engineering. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AV programming. Hands-on experience with

Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC, or Biamp

systems. Knowledge of IP networking, audio DSPs, and AV signal flow. Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Certification in any AV control platform (Crestron/AMX/Extron) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Familiar with video conferencing systems (Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco). Understanding of integration between AV and IT systems. Ability to work independently and under pressure on site.
