Data Warehousing Category IT Support Engineer Location Dubai, UAE Experience 5 years

• Diploma or university degree, preferably in Sound engineering and/or 5+ years of experience in an A/V technical position or live production technical environment
• Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Provide day-to-day organization and execution of in-person and virtual events including collaborating with third-party vendors and partners
• Liaise with in-house teams to schedule and accommodate show/meeting technology requirements
• Responsible for the audio mix (analog and digital feeds) to the live event, the webcast, and the recorded products
• Operates Video Conferencing & Audio Conferencing as needed for remote participants
• Experience with productivity and presentation platforms (Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint) for ad-hoc meeting material updates. The candidate should have the ability to load presentation materials, update changes and comments as required
• Ability to think out of the box, stay calm, and provide immediate solutions in fast-paced environments with executive leadership transparency
• Experience with HD streaming software and protocols (H.323, SIP, RTMP)
• Troubleshooting experience of Audio/Visual systems
• Perform proactive technology reviews and preventative maintenance as required to ensure proper implementation and operational support
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV system hardware and software incidents
• Follow established policies, procedures, and technology standards to ensure system availability and security
• Maintain and manage hardware policies for computers, peripherals, and presentation equipment within the Auditorium
• Familiarity with presentation, video, and camera technology operations
• Experience with Web Meetings and UCaaS (Zoom, Hangouts Meet, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.)
• Experience in supporting webcasts and webinars
• Experience with talk back systems
• Support third-party broadcasting teams if/when required.
• Basic knowledge of the operation of lighting desks
