Automotive Workshop Supervisor

is a key role in managing and overseeing the operations of an automotive repair or service facility. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the workshop runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Below are the typical responsibilities, skills, and qualifications associated with this role:

Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of technicians, mechanics, and other workshop staff. Ensure all staff members are properly trained and knowledgeable about the latest automotive technology. Schedule and assign tasks based on the shop's needs. Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.

Customer Service:

Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently. Ensure customers are kept informed about the status of their vehicles. Provide estimates and ensure timely completion of repairs.

Workshop Operations:

Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure all repairs are carried out to high standards. Ensure safety protocols are followed, including proper handling of hazardous materials. Maintain an organized and clean work environment. Monitor inventory levels of parts and tools, ordering replacements as necessary.

Quality Control:

Review and inspect completed repairs and services for quality assurance. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Implement quality improvement procedures as needed.

Budget & Financial Management:

Monitor the financial aspects of the workshop, including expenses and revenue. Track labor costs and ensure the workshop remains within budget. Prepare reports for senior management regarding workshop performance.

Skills Required:

Leadership:

Ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians and staff.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of automotive systems, repair processes, and diagnostic equipment.

Communication:

Clear and effective communication skills, especially when interacting with customers and staff.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to quickly identify issues and implement solutions.

Organization:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
