The Automotive Parts Advisor is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and supplying vehicle parts for workshop. The role ensures the correct parts are provided efficiently to support repair jobs.
Identify the correct automotive parts using vehicle chassis/VIN numbers.
Assist technicians and service advisors with accurate parts information for repair orders.
Process parts orders, invoices, and reservations for workshop and counter sales.
Maintain stock accuracy by conducting regular inventory checks and following proper binning procedures.
Receive, inspect, and record incoming parts deliveries; ensure items match purchase orders.
Manage parts returns, warranty claims, and defective items according to manufacturer policies.
Coordinate with the workshop to ensure timely delivery of parts and avoid job delays.
Ensure the parts department is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Build strong customer relationships through professional service and automotive expertise.
