We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Painting Supervisor to oversee the painting operations in our automotive facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive painting techniques, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for achieving high-quality results. As the Automotive Painting Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective completion of painting projects while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. ## Responsibilities - Supervise and lead a team of automotive painters to ensure timely completion of painting projects in accordance with established standards and guidelines. - Plan, schedule, and assign daily tasks to painters, taking into consideration project priorities and deadlines. - Monitor the performance and productivity of painters, providing guidance and training as needed to maintain quality standards. - Evaluate and inspect painted automotive parts to ensure adherence to specified colors, finishes, and customer requirements. - Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and engineering, to coordinate workflow and resolve any issues that arise during the painting process. - Maintain and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment by implementing and adhering to all applicable health and safety regulations. - Manage inventory of paints, coatings, and other supplies, coordinating with procurement to ensure availability as needed. - Stay updated on new technologies, techniques, and industry trends related to automotive painting, sharing knowledge and promoting continuous improvement within the team. ## Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in automotive painting is preferred. - Proven experience as an automotive painting supervisor or a similar leadership role in the automotive industry. - Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques, materials, and equipment. - Proficient in interpreting paint codes, color matching, and achieving desired finishes. - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of painters to achieve high-quality results. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to automotive painting. - Effective communication skills to interact with team members, management, and other departments. - Attention to detail and a commitment to producing flawless results. - Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as required.
