Ensures that the services of repairs performed on every vehicle satisfy the repair & quality standard by performing the following duties: Essential Duties & Responsibilities: \xc2\xa7 Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical defects in cars, especially European and Luxury vehicles. \xc2\xa7 Able to resolve the challenges faced with most of the cars. \xc2\xa7 Ability to use diagnostic scanners and software programming \xc2\xa7 Develops and maintains a working knowledge of the function and operation of the various mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems found on the vehicles on which the service department normally works. \xc2\xa7 Checks progress of each repair order throughout the day. \xc2\xa7 Ensures that customer vehicles are fixed right from the first time. \xc2\xa7 Ensures that repairs are carried out within promised delivery time and estimated cost. \xc2\xa7 Avoids unnecessary replacement of spare parts. \xc2\xa7 Orders and follows up parts order with Parts Department. \xc2\xa7 Inspects and test drives vehicle on which repairs are performed. \xc2\xa7 Returns those vehicles failing the quality control inspection to the technician who performed work. \xc2\xa7 Provides the servicing technician with an accurate description of the reason for returning the vehicles to them and assist/guide him to solve the problem. \xc2\xa7 Signs off satisfactory accomplished jobs and any additional job(s) found for customer\'s approval/information. \xc2\xa7 Ensures technicians record jobs done as on the job card. \xc2\xa7 Advises management regarding technician job performance, training needs, and other specific areas as requested by management. \xc2\xa7 Assists the service advisors in identifying and/or diagnosing vehicle problems when needed. \xc2\xa7 Conducts OJT for his group technicians. \xc2\xa7 Proper utilization of service facilities e.g. equipment, SST, manuals, testers, etc. \xc2\xa7 Ensures that proper maintenance is carried out on equipment, assigned to his group \xc2\xa7 Writes technical report. \xc2\xa7 Maintains high standard of premise cleanliness. \xc2\xa7 Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance for himself and his group. \xc2\xa7 Arrives at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management. \xc2\xa7 Reports to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership. Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\'s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training subordinates; planning, assigning and direction work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and /or Experience: Prefer Vocational school graduate. Familiar with automotive technical knowledge. 5 - 7-year experience as a technician. Language Skills: Preferably English/Arabic speaking Other Skills and Abilities: Familiar on all kinds of service equipment and tools as to its usage\'s Have a UAE driving license Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
