Supervise body shop staff including body technicians, painters, estimators, and detailers.
Oversee the repair process from vehicle intake to final delivery, ensuring timely completion of repairs.
Coordinate and assign daily tasks to technicians based on skillset and workload.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs meet company and industry standards.
Communicate with insurance adjusters and customers regarding repair status and approvals.
Maintain up-to-date records in the shop management system (e.g., CCC ONE, Mitchell, etc.).
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor inventory of supplies and order parts or materials as needed.
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating shop staff performance.
Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor productivity and efficiency KPIs and work to continuously improve performance.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an auto body repair environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, materials, and equipment.
Proficient with estimating systems and shop management software.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position; may require overtime based on workload.
Work is performed in a body shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, paint, and chemicals.
Requires standing, bending, lifting, and manual dexterity for long periods.
