JOB PROFILE/MISSION . Understand, perform and troubleshoot operating programs and make changes in logic and process controls within cement manufacturing environment . Follow up recurring problems related to equipment reliability or problems related to safety and working conditions and take immediate actions in coordination with his subordinates . Actively participate in carrying out Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) . Provide proper feedback to his superior and to concerned people in other departments . Propose all items related to inputs of the budget and send to his superior . Ensure the availability of spare parts for routine planned maintenance . Maintain control system, with a focus on optimization and reliability of equipment. . Maintain detailed records of repairs and modifications to control logic with dates . Work with other departments in plant automation and process optimization . Work closely with Process Engineers in analyzing, improving and documenting all aspects of operations . Work closely with maintenance, electrical and instrumentation to interface equipment with the process control systems (PCS). . Prevent downtime due to faults; continuous improvement to HMI (Human Machine Interface) and programming to both extend life of existing PCS and facilitate eventual replacement. . Ensure that spares and equipment received are as per the relevant specifications
