Job Summary:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer - Electrical with experience in installation and testing of RTUs in 11KV Distribution Substations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in testing and commissioning, preferably with DEWA projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and commission RTUs in 11KV substations. Ensure SCADA system integration per utility standards. Conduct functional and operational testing of automation systems. Troubleshoot RTUs and electrical automation issues. Coordinate with DEWA and stakeholders for compliance. Maintain technical documentation and reports. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Automation Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in RTU testing & commissioning (preferably DEWA projects). Knowledge of SCADA, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, Modbus, and automation tools. Familiarity with DEWA regulations and protection relays. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to workindependently in field environments.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience in utility distribution network automation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
