Automation Engineer
Job Description
We are urgently seeking a highly qualified Automation Engineer with strong experience in Valmet DNA automation systems within the paper industry. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge and practical, hands-on experience with Valmet DNA, enabling them to contribute effectively from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor and maintain control systems used in paper machines (DCS & QCS)
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Valmet DNA & QCS systems
-Support the EAI team in managing and improving other control systems
-Provide hands-on training and technical guidance to team members with limited DNA knowledge
-Liaise with suppliers to address potential issues with control systems
Requirements:
-Proven experience working with Valmet DNA automation systems in a paper manufacturing environment
-Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
-Candidates currently working with Valmet or its partner companies will be given first preference
